Installation Steps

  1. Using a suitable wrench, loosen the end of the old A/C compressor.
  2. Use a refrigerant recovery machine to recover the refrigerant.
  3. Remove the belt and turn off the power to the steering pump, disconnect the electrical connections.
  4. Remove the refrigerant line. (use a small cloth strip to block the pipe)
  5. At this point the old compressor has been completely removed.
  6. Pour four ounces of oil into the new compressor.
  7. The hose above the old compressor needs to be reinstalled on the new compressor.
  8. Re-fix the new compressor according to the above removal steps, connect the refrigerant pipeline, and connect the electrical interface.
  9. Finally put the power steering pump back and tighten the bolts. Put the belt back on.
  10. It is recommended to run the vacuum pump for half an hour to an hour to ensure that the system is completely dry.
  11. Refill the refrigerant.

Common Fault Analysis:

  1. Aging: Compressor gets aging and produces impurities, which blocks the pipes, or dry bottles become invalid, the ice causes the blockage.
  2. Pressure: Poor heat dissipation or excessive refrigerant results in high pressure, which may cause the pressure valve breakage or deformation.
  3. Leakage: The pipe assembly is installed loosely or the rubber is aging, which may cause leakage.
  4. Oil Starvation: When the system is not properly lubricated, compressor part burns out.
