How to Use the Stair Tread Gauge?

 1. Loosen the rotational knobs on gauge. Press the stair tread gauge to the back of the stair step. Push toward the ends.

 2. Tighten the knobs while maintaining pressure. Avoid all contact with walls or other obstructions that could alter the measurements and angles of the template.

 3. Place the stair tread gauge flush to the back of the stair. Trace the cut lines by pencil. And cut it by cutting machine.

 4. Be sure to have the stringers and the stair steps solid and straight. Apply a sufficient amount of glue to the stair steps and stringers.

 5. Insert the stair. Be careful not to force t too much and verify that there is-nothing obstructing the insertion. Press the stair evenly.
